Make a budget and stick with it
Here's a few ideas.
Open a new bank account that pays $100 or more as a welcome bonus. And open a Stash brokerage and use their debit card for your daily small purchases both to limit the temptation of overspending and to accumulate fractional shares of stock for shopping.
Use sites like Fetch, Swagbucks and MyPoints to accumulate free eGift cards like Amazon, Visa and Paypal or for restaurants like Dunkin, Pappa John's and such so you don't dip into savings for junk food.
And when you have $25 you can afford to blow buy cryptocurrency on PayPal. Today it will only let you store the value so you can't use it to buy stuff. But you also don't have to worry about losing access to your money as has happened to some. Think of it as playing the lotto except your odds of winning are way better!
Take care of bills take care of mercies and then try to say the rest
How can you save money when your spouse is always needing something?
Save money and pay bills and then not the bills type reminders I did not touch it unless you really have to let's do it guys
I've done pretty well with a Stash investment account. In just 3 weeks I'm up 5.01%.
Starting in March I will use auto invest to buy $1 of each stock in my account and just leave it there UNLESS an individual stock is showing poor results in which case I'll move all but $1 of it over to the stocks that are doing well.
Time will tell if this works out well.
Its hard to budget. This journal has helped me immensely.
@Tishyra A: Care to elaborate on your "this journal"? Is it like an accounting General Journal or ledger? Or is it more like journaling your day/emotions/thoughts or inspirational quotes/stories to look upon and reflect?
A combination maybe, like Kakeibo?

Pay your bills pay your rent and see what you got left over but still guys
Buy only the items you plan on ahead of shopping. and check both on line and local stores for prices. Do not allow yourself to impulse purchase items. On line shopping often leads to impulse buying so you must discipline yourself if you shop on line.
I'm scared
Start small when trying to save and build from there.
So many ways
I get a bank bonus today. I will use that bonus to get free rebates. From the rebates. I will open stock acct and pay a bill.
I’m new to this budgeting category(began 2020) I’m currently trying the zero based budget technic, I’ve learned the 50/30/20 rule doesn’t not work for me
When I get my income, I subtract the bills for the rest of the month. I try to just spend what is in my account until I get my income again.
