Noreen D.
I think I've been debt most of my life. Finally I'll be out of debt by November this year. I'm 74 and SaversLife was a great way to help me see and learn about my finances. So don't give up keep leaning and growing. It's never to late.

I've been paying down my debt since I got my first credit card about 17 years ago. Its been a long journey, but I've only got 6,000 more to to go. Get another credit card and a few store cards didn't help, but they come in handy when needed. I figure it will take me a few more years to finally pay it off if I watch how much I spend and make extra payments when I can. I've already paid off 2 cards this year I didn't want anymore, so I think I'm doing great so far.
I have paid off a lot of debt. I am still working on paying off debt.
To the original poster, Noreen, I hope that things worked out for you and that you are either completely debt free or close to it now! Thank you for sharing a little about yourself and encouraging readers to not give it. In my own experience dealing with the realities of debt have been discouraging and exhausting. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with others who are going through similar things and making it to the other side. Thanks everyone!
I'll be thrilled when we're debt free
