Hi
Hi
Budget a monthly amount more than $5 that you want to save.
See if there is anything that you are buying that you can buy less of, buy none of, or buy for a better price.
Use Shopkick. It's like a scavenger hunt where you scan the barcodes of products on a list to earn points which can be exchanged for gift cards, including PayPal. If you grocery shop at Walmart or Target, for example, you can easily earn $5-$10/month just scanning barcodes during your regular trip. In the lead-up to Xmas, there are even more points available, and I was getting about $20/month. There are lots of other stores that participate, too. Shopkick also offers rebates on the products you're scanning, but you don't have to buy them. However, sometimes the product ends up being free or you can combine it w/rebates from Ibotta and/or Fetch. There are also short (15-30 seconds) videos you can play in the app to earn a few points. You can cash out with as little as 500 points (points are called "kicks") for a $2 Target GC. With 1250 points, you can get a $5 Amazon or Walmart card. With 2550, you can opt for a $10 Paypal card. There are lots of other GCs, available, too. Since November 2020, I've redeemed $498!
If you're interested, here's my referral code (we each get 250 points, which is the equivalent of $1): COOL733249
Cool thanks! MAYBE I'LL CHECK THIS OUT

I’ve started using acorns to round up all of my purchases into an investment account!
Recently I’ve been getting cash advances using free fin apps to help pay for misc expenses that come up… if that could help anyone else on here, the link below shows all of the financial, survey, and shopping apps I’ve used that are actually useful and offer great perks
(select Banking or Financial category for ones that offer cash advances)
