The 2 winter storms, URI and VIOLA, have created financial emergencies for millions in Texas and across at least 26 other states in the U.S. I'm blessed to have power, but, with water lines being affected by power outages the city's water source has wreaked havoc on my living conditions. I have very low water pressure and only have hot water slowly streaming from kitchen faucet finally. Boiled water past Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to wash dishes, etc. Now we are under water boil advisory for consumption in San Antonio and most of state of Texas. I did prepare so I have food and bottled water. SaverLife has motivated me to save, so, if I needed to go to a hotel that has power and water, I actually could. Otherwise, I haven't suffered any financial emergencies but millions have. Many have busted water pipes, no power, so, no heat, little or no food or water. They have been forced to move to shelters, hotels friends' and relatives' homes or hunker down. Grocery stores running out of food daily and have lost power. Millions will suffer financially long after this winter storm passes. I pray for those having to weather this without essential needs. It's a lesson to be learned about saving for emergencies and preparation for winter storms in Texas. We've never experienced anything like this, only hurricanes. Please pray for all affected everywhere.
