I’m going to star by saying I’m an extremely bad at saving I always have been. I’m 26 and I need to start! I am an electrician, and I’m soon going to be making a decent amount of money. As of right now though I’m in debt. I just can’t find a way to save still. I have rent plus utilities, I pay all of myself which is I’ve half my check. This is because my lady refuses to have roommates but also doesn’t contribute financially so I’m left to handle that area of life but I feel like I’m drowning and I need help! Thanks to steady I found this app and I hope it will help me!

First make a budget to see how much money you'll have to be able to set aside every paycheck to save. Then open a savings account. The two best ones I would recommend are Capital One and Discover online. And last pay yourself first. After you get paid, the first thing you should do is to transfer the determined savings amount to your credit account. Now you're on your way to saving.
I was thinking of switching my savings to capital one! They have a good savings apr rate :) and I have my credit card with them and i love their company so far!
