First save money that you plan to invest. Then I would first start investing in Mutual Funds that contain the companies that you are comfortable with. Try to invest the same amount every payday and watch it grow.
JMO you should commit $10 or $20 at a time to cryptocurrency, which you can do on PayPal for a modest fee, when the prices dip as a long term holding.
When car makers, banks, and local governments are buying it as a hedge it's time to take it serious!
