Acorns and Robinhood are good apps to use for investing

I heard that Acorns is free for college students with an .edu address to use the app for free for up to four years. I think, It is great benefit for current college students to sign up for an account.

I emailed them about being a college student and using my .edu email, but they said they don't offer free membership anymore so I pay every month.

I have used Stash, acorns and robinhood. I closed Stash because of the fees, after researching and reading reviews I realized their fees are kind of high. I have had acorns for years now and enjoy them. Robinhood has been hard for me to understand, so I haven't done much there yet

I've been using Stash for months now and have gotten several direct bonuses for signing up and am always getting stock when I use my debit card. You can buy portions of stocks and don't have to shell out the very large cost of an entire share all at once. I'm getting a late start in life but over the long term I think it's a winning prospect for me.

I notice quite a few people have investment accounts with multiple companies? What is the benefit?

I'm just getting started with acorns. I've been looking into starting stash as well. My BF uses Robinhood and is doing pretty good so far.

Switching from Robinhood to Webull, lots more info if you are more active in investing and they allow extended hours trading (outside of 9:30-4 EST)

There are many apps outthere. I will study them and their cost vs services and read about their reviews and pick the one you get more out of.

Which is better Acorns or Stash?

I like Stash personally because I can have my IRA and custodial accounts along with a personal Investment account. Plus, they give out free stock all the time. Speaking of which, I have a #StashStockParty to get to now.

Many of these investing apps charge you a monthly fee and that is something I find is an unessesary expense now that we're starting out. That is the reason I opened an investment account with Fidelity Investments and use their stock information data.

Just another tool to see, TD Ameritrade Thinkorswim. Shows level 2 data if you opt in for it.

Many of the new investing apps charge you a monthly fee. I went with the one I thought has more features and no charges. Fidelity Investments app.
