I try 10 every week.
Im trying 5 a week since i dont work
As much as possible. Every little bit helps, then try increasing it in a few months. It's like building muscle.
I’m finally seeing the benefits of saving even a small amount weekly.
Save Save Save and Save.
It’s different for everyone
Thanks to Saverlife, I see the benefits of saving more immediately, in simple things like a scratch off, a congrats, or even a rank up on the leaderboard. I think ANY amount of money that you can safely save and not borrow back within a 2 weeks time (until next pay period) is good! Saving is about habit and repetition, it’s gets easier as you do! I have money go directly into my savings accounts via DD, 2% to one savings account, $35 to another savings account each pay period, and since 2018, I have always allocated 3% of my pay to go to my 401k account. It’s a challenge, but usually that money isn’t counted in my finances because I’ve been so much in the habit of saving. Good luck Savers
As much as you can
start small and increase regularly
$50 a week should be good
Its different for everyone.
every financial workshop i've been on mentions saving 10% of your income or whatever you can to start
Most of us get paid bi-weekly. I think we should take 20% of our pay and ÷ by 2, and that is the amount we should save weekly. If you follow this formula, can you tell me how much would each of you save weekly?
I like this idea.
I save a percentage rather than a dollar amount because my income fluctuates.
I do well to save the $5. A week. Things are pretty tight. But I’m also on schedule to be debt free except for student loans by December.
Look at savings like a bill that's due and must be paid now.
