What are some good exercises to do without going to the gym. Still not feeling comfortable being around a crowd
You can do cardio and body weight exercises like lunges, squats, planks, pushups, crunches and etc. You can find quite a few videos on youtube if you are just getting started.
I’ve been jump roping, rollerblading, jogging, and some YouTube exercises. They are all free and I haven’t felt a need to go back to the gym!
I know it SOUNDS like doing a bunch of push-ups and sit-ups won't do much, and if you're far enough along that might be true, but I find they're still effective for me! If needed, you could also add things like weighted vests!
Exercising for me has been the best solution to being cooped up in the house. I’m loving how I feel after a good 45 minute walk. My heart pumping strong and my breathing is clear and open. So try moving for at least 30 minutes a day. It working for me.
