A painless way to pay down debt is to start with your smallest debt, and one way of doing this for me was to sell stuff we no longer needed to consignment stores and on FB marketplace. I'm getting rid of debt and making space in my home by getting rid of clutter.
that is a great idea. i use the snowball method which is paying the small debt first, then taking the same monthly amount from the paid debt and applying it to the next lowest bill and continuing this pattern.
Great ideas. I use the snowball method as well and it's worked wonders for me.
Yo voy saliendo poco a poco de lo que debo
I believe if you have the ability to move all your debt into one account you would pay less in interest.
Do the snowball method, pay the smallest balance off first and so on and so on.
And don't add debt while you're paying it off.
I like these ideas. Now to put them to use.
Here's a snowball debt calculator, it always helped me to stay on track when I could see the results in the future.

And don't add debt while you're paying it off.
This has been my struggle. Paying off debt but than still using credit cards. So I have to work on being more disciplined with that
I need to pay off $9000 to get approved for my new home for closing. I am a little frustrated because l really want this house.
Bit by bit it comes down, the important thing is not to add to it at all!
Ive been practicing the snowball method and it has been great. However, my interests is not making it easy. So I think my next stop is a personal loan
Once you pay off credit cards cut them up.
I'm definitely on the struggle-bus as far as interest slowing down my progress, but DON'T MISS ANY PAYMENTS! Pay the minimum and ON TIME.
I had hardships in 2017 and the late payments (late enough to be reported, but not later than 30 days) I had in early 2017 are still affecting my credit report.
Late payments that are reported to the credit bureaus stay on your credit report for SEVEN YEARS. Some creditors may only look at the last 3 years, but a late payment will haunt you for 7 years. Do not be late!
I hate giving the banks my money through interest! The debt avalanche method was best for me. I paid off my debt with the highest interest rate first.

Working on debt is hard but rewarding.
I was doing so good. I was about $ 2,000 away from being credit card debt free until about august/ september of 2020. Then things went south and now I'm in more debt than I have ever been. Its tough starting over.
I love using Undebt.it to project my debt payoff timeline. All the adjustments I make are reflected immediately.
