I bought paint and stuff and paid a bill with my stimulus check but unfortunately it wasn't enough , I've still got bills out the Ying yang and need more supplies and help trying to fix my home before it gets really cold.

I know everyone is trying to wait on the second stimulus check but it didnt happened. Many people us the first one to pay bills. I know i was one of those people.
Exactly, I couldn't afford to save the first one. It IMMEDIATELY went to bills. :C Now there's the focus on certifying the election results and the lawsuits tied up with that that I doubt anything will move on this topic till February…

Well my fiance is getting ready to be laid off again for another two months and with holidays and winter coming on top of bills piling up ,I sure hope we do.
I used my stimulus check to cover bills. I am the sole income earner until recently and we have a ton to catch up on. It's been hard but I'm hoping with my husband being back in the workforce it'll get a little easier soon.
I bought a car and bought clothes for my kids caught up on bills did what I could with it

Yea I think the majority of us especially those of us that are parents and may be out of work or severely cut hours are in need of that second stimulus check. I used mine for good paying up bills but even with that I'm running thru my savings trying to stay afloat.
If we see that happen before December is done, it will be a miracle.

I personally think the no stimulus check instead give the extra 300 a week for 4 months is a better option and would benefit way more.
Right now the president's counter is no $300 per week jobless benefit, only $600 direct pay (half of previous stimulus) which is more than what the Republicans seem willing to do, and the Democrats seem to have a proposal that is 30% more expensive than the Republican cutoff.
It's not about the people. It never was.
I would rather see an agreement to weekly benefits in the amount of $400 for up to 6 months. A single payment of $1200 will not help 90% of the country. More need to be done now that most of the country is about to go on lockdown down again.
