It takes some work, and plenty of revisions to be accurate, but once it is; it's fantastic!

I use a small notebook and pencil to budget every 2 weeks (I budget by paycheck). What do you guys use?

I use a Happy Planner mini that I have customized using budget inserts and filler paper. I like paper and pencil planner because I tend to pay more attention and remember things I write down.
I use a spreadsheet and have recently started intuit mint (free version) - have found we are spending more on take-out the last two months! Time to stop that as our budgeted monthly amount is $30 on take-out… September was close to $100 in take-out….
I'm trying so hard to save sometimes it seems impossible but I'm not giving up
I actually would really love very simple budgeting advice.
