How can we manage better
First and foremost, know that no matter how data-driven finances seem to be–it is mainly a mindset. If one changes their mindset, often-times finances [and everything else] follows.
I agree Mindset is everything! Also, organize and keep track in a way that works for you, not someone else. I tried using budget books and different things that others recommended and it was daunting and made me more stressed. I found that for me doing a sticky note of spending each week on my mirror works best. It is simple and works for me as a reminder to keep in the right mindset. This won't work for everyone, some need more detailed approaches. You find what works for you.
@Savannah G. I hadn't ever thought of a sticky-note approach before, but I can definitely see how it would work for some.
Yes, definitely find an organization system that works for you and never-mind a system that works for others if it isn't something that works for you. Personal finances have no set-in-stone rules.
