Yes, they should know some basics of a lot of things so that they can be aware of what credit score is and what credit score can do. We as parents are our responsibility to teach them all basics of everything.

I think they should teach a lot more about credit and budgeting and money in school. It affects your life a lot and a lot of people have very little knowledge about money.
