Meet the Savers Win $5,000 Winner!

In early 2018, we launched Savers Win, a new way to reward you for saving. Savers Win gave away over $10,000 in cash prizes to Savers all across the country, including a $5,000 grand prize.

After an incredibly difficult round of deliberations, our panel of judges selected Jessica as our Grand Prize Winner. We showed up at her home in South Carolina to surprise her with this news. See what happened:

Jessica, a SaverLife member and single mother of four, was one of 9,000 people who pledged to save their 2017 tax refund with Savers Win. As part of the Grand Prize Story Competition, she wrote about her own struggle to save and how SaverLife helped her:

When I’m able to save money for a rainy day, I don’t have to get a loan which will put me in the debt or ask family, which can be sometimes embarrassing. Saving has really boosted my self-esteem, my confidence, and my self-respect! I hope that many other families have the opportunity to use the program as well.
