Budgeting with same amount of money more expenses

How can you budget your money when you got the same and come coming in as you did before, but now you have everyone at home using electricity gas water eating more food it's very very tough to stay on a budget

@Kelly - we have on/off hours. So when it's sunny outside, we don't turn on the lights.

You have to find more money or cut costs. Can they contribute? Either financially or by doing things you would otherwise pay for? Like mowing and lawn care or laundering clothes that would otherwise be sent out?

We try to avoid running the air conditioning. We're usually okay with fans until indoor temps hit the upper '80s and then we either open the windows if we've made it to the evening or run the air for an hour or so to knock the temp back down.

Also, I suggest adding as much dry beans, rice, and potatoes to the menu as you can handle. Use them to bulk up recipes or build meals around them. For recipes, look at poverty cuisine around the world. For example, I want to say there's an Italian soup built around stale bread.

I would try to decrease spending on all non-essential items such as hobby expenses and entertainment expenses.
