I really don't know–will have to check. I truly have never been asked to join a holiday club by Bank of America
My credit union in Michigan used to offer one, it came with 1/2 percent more interest if you left the money in for the duration…. if you took it out before timeline - you lost all interest.
Not that I know of
What is the holiday club?
A Holiday Club was a way of saving throughout the year for a set amount goal to save a little every paycheck so you can have the money in Christmas to buy what you wanted.
I also bank out of Michigan at Omni Community Credit,I think they still offer it .
Yes, no real perks.
Bank of America has never had a holiday club I wish they did
I wish my bank had a holiday club account.
I like holiday clubs.
Never heard of it
I haven’t heard of a holiday club.
I don’t believe my CU offers a holiday club but I know of other local banks that do.
I’ve never had a bank that offered a holiday club. I setup my own holiday club with a direct deposit from my paycheck into an account specifically for gifts.
There use to be Holiday savings accounts. I really liked it. By Xmas there was money to spend. I have 4 separate account. One checking and 3 others. I use one for 10 % rainy day. One for SaversLife. I'm thinking the 4th one would be good for Holiday savings.
Most of the Holiday Clubs I know don't provide any interest of the money you save, for this reason it is best to save the money in a savings account.
Just another way to get you to spend money
When I get holiday funds, I spend my money.
Never heard of it
Yeah, but never at a competitive interest rate
No they do not
Never heard of it
…
I think that my Credit Union has a Holiday savings plan.
