My goal for 2021 is to fully fund my emergency savings and sinking funds.

@Manuel M For most people, it is better to get a used car [with a good car history] as depreciation takes quite a bit from the value of the car in the first few years. (And a large chunk right after driving it out of the parking lot!).
But, research is definitely needed as there can be issues to think about such as mileage (mpg) and potential repairs due.
