I'm in the process of planning to move overseas (from the east coast to Ireland), and I'm hoping to do that by the end of summer 2022. Because of Covid, my plans got impacted, and I'm worried that saving won't be possible. Does anyone have any suggestions for saving, ways to find cheaper moving companies, shipping things for cheap, budgeting, etc?

One of my plans is definitely to sell a lot of items and cut down on what I need to move. I may potentially put some stuff–like furniture–into storage and just ship essential things overseas, but even that is a concern since that means I'd need to pay rent for a storage company.
