Has anyone heard how new laws are being requested for credit to be government controlled!!!
Some of the updated requests that are being made is for: a. Bad medical debt to be excused b. Instead of 7 years to clear and update to 4 years c. Be government controlled due to creditor errors.
I’m totally interested as credit is the most important…. yet most easily to destroy in your life. Anyone has any input.

I hadn't heard of this until now but it does seem like a positive change. The medical debt excused seems good but I think there needs to be a fundamental change in insurance to even prevent necessary medical care from becoming debt. I don't ever see "C." passing, there is too much in the business of "credit monitoring" from companies like Experian and Trans Union. I feel the most important thing is educating people on how credit works and how to use it. If we could get personal finance classes into the high school curriculum we might not even need legislation like this, but that's loftful thinking. It's nice to see some interesting new regarding credit, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for you input. I too agree that credit classes should be taught in school
