Any one have any suggestions for which is the best credit card to open/start as your very first credit card to not only help build credit but so that it's nothing to go wild and spend a bunch money but just something for emergencies and maybe weekly gas and just simply to help build up credit??
Probably a secure credit card to start establishing healthy spending habits!
I agree with Vanessa, where a secured credit card is the way to go. When you don't have any form of credit, credit card companies usually won't open an account for you because they don't know if you're going to run away with the money and not pay it back. It sucks, but we got to play their game in order to get a good credit score and a secured credit card does just that!
Self credit builder card will help you build credit
