A secure credit card for any one of the major banks or credit union will help you build credit. Open one with your bank and they will first take a deposit of 300 or 500 and give you a secure credit card for that amount. Keep using it and paying on time and after around 6 months, if your payment history is good, the bank will return your deposit and then you have credit card. In the meantime, the bank will report your positive payment history to the credit bureau which will increase your credit score.
Hey yall Goodmorning
kikoff really helps your credit and so does self try them!
Some advice when trying to build your credit score is find a credit card with low or no interest and transfer your balances. This is not always an option when trying to build from a low score.
Why should you have credit cards, to get good scores?

Why should you have A one credit to own a home?
Honestly, there isn't a shortcut. It doesn't happen fast. When I got divorced my credit was BAD. Like, I probably couldn't have signed for a glass of water. What I did was open a credit builder account with Self. Then I took the secured credit card that they offered me after my 3rd payment. After about another month I was able to open a First Premier credit card. Yes, they're interest is high and they charge a $95 fee to open your account, but if you make the payment every month, it drastically helps your credit. I basically just kept making my payments on time, and started getting preapproval letters in the mail.
It's been 2 years since my divorce now, and my credit score is almost 700. I'm at 680.

all this stuff about credit its a bit hard to understand sometimes.
Ok!!!
I’ve always struggled with my credit report for years and the hard inquiries. I thought my credit score was way too low for someone with my income level. I’ve done everything to get it up but it’s still not enough. Not until I met a skilled set of professionals in credit building from reddit and sent them an email to help me, their official email is "synod @ tutanota . com", they fixed it perfectly to my taste I just couldn’t believe it, I know we are not supposed to share information like this on here but I believe since it helped me then why not help others too? that's what any decent human being would do.

The hard thing about credit is that you can destroy it quickly, yet build it incredibly slow.
Just know having a dip in your credit isn't always bad, but the way you react to it will be the deciding factor on if you bounce back "quick" or not.
