In Covid times, there are a lot more resources for training up for a new job or activity, some of which even give material assistance in various forms. We have a great office of JVS in the SF Bay Area (CA), where I'm getting job search skill-building and access to programs that help with basic needs. https://www.jvs.org

It's impossible to save money when every dime goes to bills and debt. Until i'm debt free and can find another job I can't save any money.
