Hi all, I found out that if you have federal student loans and wanted to get a refund during the Covid-19 Student Loan Relief time period (starting March 13, 2020) you can only get a refund if you haven't paid off a loan in full.
I saved up and was able to fully pay off one of my loans, but hard times have hit so I was wondering if I could get that money back. After trying to navigate the FedLoan servicing phone menu and being placed on hold for awhile a supervisor let me know that loans paid in full will not be refunded by the Federal Gov.
I didn't know this. They will refund payments as long as a loan is NOT paid in full. So, I wanted to pass on this information.
