I've been using several websites and apps over the past few years for making some extra money, but especially over the past year, I've really gotten into finding ways. Here is a list that some might find useful/helpful. ! WARNING: LARGE POST !
SavvyConnect: This is truly passive income up to $15/month by installing 2 apps and a Chrome browser extension: an app on your phone, an app on your tablet, and the browser extension on your PC ($5/month per install). They also email surveys every so often. The only downside is they cash out with physical checks. https://www.surveysavvy.com/?m=8249585
Telephia is yet another fully passive phone app. Earn a dollar/week for having it installed. Cashout to PayPal. May not accept everyone.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telephia
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/telephia/id1448743135
Mobile Performance Meter is another passive/semi-passive phone app that pays you .05¢/day for having it installed. They also have surveys available (most are underpaid). Cashout in gift cards. I don't know they accept everyone, but give it a try: https://www.embeepay.com/mpm/bin/invite/7024678151/7008
Killi app: Killi is another passive/semi-passive phone app. Share some data in the app (location, phone make/model, etc) and earn some money. The amount of data you share determines how much you earn each week. I currently earn .75¢/week for what I share. They pay in either gift cards or crypto. https://link.killi.io/nCi2HhH4tbb
Pogo is a receipt rewards app, but you don't have to upload receipts. Link your spending cards/accounts and it'll reward you automatically for your purchases. https://pogocash.app.link/593B3
1Q is an app that sends you a single survey question every once in a while. It pays .25¢ per question and immediately pays to PayPal. When you get the notification you must be quick to respond or it'll expire. https://1Q.com/vo4t5x
Street Bees is an app where you complete "stories" which are usually questions about your life, or how you use certain products. Seems to be geared more toward women. Once your stories have been accepted they pay directly to PayPal.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.streetbees
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/streetbees/id1011789604
My referral code: 702445
Hatch is an app that has qualifiers for surveys. Then if you qualify, the surveys pay a few dollars. The downside is it takes weeks for payment, and it's only in Amazon gift card codes.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cspace.android.connect
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hatch-by-c-space/id1051022004
My referral code: E263-FH5K
dscout is a phone app where people do "missions". To apply to a mission most require a video selfie. I've seen people make hundreds of dollars a month using dscout.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vokal.dscout
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/in/app/dscout/id395563123
The following are websites for earning money. While many can be done on a mobile device, they're best done on a PC (or otherwise stated on their site).
Amazon Mechanical Turk is a crowdsourcing platform developed and hosted by Amazon, launched in 2005. You can find various tasks and surveys to complete, many of them are academic (from universities all over the world). People can easily make a few hundred dollars a month, and die-hards can make a thousand or more (extremely difficult!). They don't accept everyone, so don't be discouraged if they don't take you right away – they meet whatever demographics they have open at the time. Sign up at https://worker.mturk.com with your Amazon credentials. If and when you get accepted, check out the subreddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/mturk and also sign up with TurkerView at https://www.turkerview.com, then read about the scripts and extensions, especially MTurk Suite – I would go as far as saying this is required reading. They pay either direct deposit to your bank account or directly to your Amazon gift card balance.
Prolific is a website similar to MTurk except all of the surveys on there are academic. A hundred or more a month is relatively easy to make. Install their Chrome extension which will alert you to new studies posted. Providing ID at signup is required to confirm your identity. They pay via PayPal in Great British Pounds as they're located in England. https://www.prolific.co
SerpClix is a super simple site to make money on. Get paid for clicking on links. Must use either Microsoft Edge or Firefox browsers. Once you sign up, download the extension then log into the extension which will bring you to an orders page. Clicking on an order will open a search page, usually Google. The search term is already copied to your clipboard so just hit CTRL-V or right-click and Paste into the search box. The first time you use Google search you'll want to change the settings to display 100 results on the page, do this by clicking on the settings tab, then move the slider to 100 and save. The result you want will be highlighted in red. You'll also know the result is on the page by the extension's icon, saying "GO" in red. If it's not on that page, click on the next page at the bottom. If you run out of pages, then click on the option that re-searches with omitted results. Payment is .10¢ for domestic links and .05¢ for international links. Payment is sent via PayPal at the beginning of the following month. BE SURE TO READ THEIR INSTRUCTIONS!! Sometimes the orders tab will close on its own so keep an eye on it. Close it when you're done working.

RAADZ is a site where you watch or view ads, then provide ratings. Then you earn based on where you placed in your ratings – must be within the top 15%. Not always easy to earn, but just provide your gut feelings. Cashout to PayPal after $15 is earned, but they subtract $1 for processing. https://raadz.com?rfid=GqSLMwvY
SwagBucks is probably the most popular GPT (get paid to) sites. Whether you like surveys, installing games, getting cashback on purchases, etc. this site has it all. Join the subreddit group and learn how others are making hundreds of dollars a month using SwagBucks: https://www.reddit.com/r/swagbucks

Respondent is a site for applying to a variety of different studies. They are often held via video, like Zoom. You get 3 screener attempts per day. Payment is through PayPal, minus a 5% fee for each completed study which goes to Respondent.

Since this post has turned out to be fairly large, I'll end here. If anyone is interested in more, I have a few more sites to share.
With the exception of dscout (I haven't used it) I've received payment from every website and app I posted here.
@Chris R., thanks for the post! I haven't heard of most of these. I can add Clickworker and Neevo to the list.
