Hello Saverlife,
I am still awaiting my disability benefits from Social Security and the Va. My wife and I have limited food and the landlord gave us an eviction notice because the pardon for the rent payment (Cares Act) has expired also for the electric bill. My wife is about to leave me to go back to her mother and I will have to go into the shelter. I don't know how I am going to survive without her, Please we need help with our rent, electric bill and food. I pray to God that this perilous time will pass and we can return to our normal lives. Thank you and God bless you.

Thank you for your service @Edward
Have you tried emailing their customer support?? help@saverlife.org
Thanks for replying Danielle B. I have not emailed customer support, can they help? I was hoping to try Scratch and Win. Thank you very much.
It was my pleasure to serve in the Armed Forces for my fellow people of USA.
@Edward B,
Thank you for your service! Have you are wife applied for Public aid? You all could at least apply for food stamps and talk with a case worker about any resources that could help assist you and your wife with the rent.
Praying for you and your wife….keep the Faith it is going to get better.
@ Deveri D.
Thank you for your prayers Deveri D., and thank you for replying to my story. We have applied for food stamps and help with the Housing Authority. We are in the waiting process. It's very disturbing that we are experiencing these difficulties in these hard times. We are currently seeking out resources to help us. Due to Covid-19 being on the extreme rise here in Florida, we are also afraid to go to public places. So we try to apply via the internet. I do pray it gets better for everyone, you have a safe and blessed weekend.
Thank you.

@Edward B. Check with legal aid in your area. Maybe they can help. They at least might know if the courts aren't processing evictions or the sheriff isn't evicting people right now (it's not clear if the eviction notice you received was from the landlord or the court).
Hi Melissa D,,
Thank you for replying to my post. The eviction notice is from my Landlord, Premier Housing. I am quite sure they have filed for eviction with the court. A few people in the Complex got served court papers. I will try to call 211 so they can help me to get a Legal Aid Attorney when I get served the Court Papers. Other than that I keep on praying and searching for help, while Florida becomes the Epic Center of the pandemic, topping NY with 15,299 new covid-19 cases. Really scary. Have a blessed day and be safe.
