If you have the money to do so and continue payments, then yes
Not where I am, but we tried for a bit anyway. I think prices are super high and I'm not convinced they'll stay there (but they could). I also think it's just miserable to be looking while there's so much competition for fewer houses than normal. We're adjacent to a major metro so my experience reflects that. It may be better elsewhere.
But if you need a place to live, plan to stay long-term, and can afford it, it may make sense for you to buy now.
House prices in MA are crazy

A good time is when your personal financials are in place to manage the monthly payments and additional cost of ownership. ie. maintenance and taxes
We are very lucky to have been able to save during this time so we have started really looking. Not much out there in the price range and location we're trying to stick to.
WI prices are fairly affordable. Surprisingly there are several new neighborhoods being built in the county where I live and people are buying them up left and right before the home is even finished being built.
Real estate is a great way to keep pace with inflation.
The average home in Southeast Florida is overvalued by more than 11%. I’m thinking about purchasing a home, but I’m going to wait to buy when prices get more reasonable https://www.fau.edu/newsdesk/articles/home-prices-overvalued.php
Definitely not

when is the right time to buy a home.
First focus on your financials before looking at houses or the market. If you can't qualify it doesn't matter what the market is doing.
