Since this is expiring at the end of the year. Does that mean to pass property after death and avoiding probate goes back to only viable with a Living Trust?

I am not sure if you are doing estate/medicaid planning but if the property is in Florida, Michigan, Texas, Vermont, or West Virginia you might consider a "Ladybird Trust"
