Hi
Are there 401k options that aren't through an employer?
People often use "geoarbitrage" as a means of making their retirement savings go further in a place that has a lower cost of living, but I think it's also important to consider the potential negative impact this has on the community. Here, Tanja Hester considers (early) retirement without harming others.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment!

@Tabitha R: Not sure if you have found it yourself, or if another has answered elsewhere, but with a quick search I found a page from Fidelity that says "Enroll in Your 401(k) today." (It was on one of those moving banners.), so I imagine that other investment platforms offer some, too.
Yes!
Thanks for the advice.

Following. I wish more people talked about retirement needs much more openly and earlier in life.
I certainly with we learned all of this in High School. Even Social Security etc
Good info, thanks
Have a 401k or some employer sponsored retirement account, then have an IRA, also have an HSA it’s necessary to have as many accounts as you can. And have your house paid off.
