I am not sure where this topic should go, so here we go. My friend got his living will and financial and medical POAs done before his kid was born. I am having a kid soon and am thinking about doing the same. I could go through a professional and they could probably resolve this question, but I thought I would throw it out anyhow: How do I include my child in my will if he or she hasn't even been born yet? I feel like I need to wait and do it after the child is born, right?
This comes to mind because I got access to a free will tool called freewill through my college alumni association, and in working on a last will and testament, I had to enter my child's name, which I do not yet know. Anyhow, thanks for reading. Comments welcome!
