Lets give our savings a super boost for the month of December. Save $3 a day during the month of December and add $7 on December 31st. How do you do that? First you establish a day to do the transfer, i.e. - every Monday. If you are a cash spender - put $3 in an envelope everyday; if you use debit - transfer $3 from your checking to your savings account; by doing this on December 31 you should have saved $93. Since the 31st falls on Thursday and you do this every Monday, on Tuesday add $7 and you would have saved $100 during the month of December. HAPPY SAVING.
Try coin out…….its free money you earn by scanning the barcodes from receipts from store you shop at. You can cash out at one dollar or keep going to whatever amount you want. Then you can cash out for a gift card or send the money to your bank account.
Something for next year any time you get a 5 dollar bill save it from jan 1 to dec 31 2021. My first year I save over 700, not sure about this year have not counted and still have some days left
I've just started doing this over the last couple years but see if your bank has a Christmas club. I'm not sure if you even have to have a account there to participate. The way mine works Is you get your account and you deposit money in there as much as you like. I would take a percentage of my paycheck an put it in the account. I started mine In April or May. You are not allowed to withdraw money from the account. At the end of October the bank sends you a check, they can deposit it into your checking account. Boom, there is your Christmas money!
There are so many good ideas on this forum. I can't wait to try many of them. I'm sort of addicted to financial apps. LOL!
