IDK if that would work for me. I live in the country, and the best internet available is satellite from a small provider. It's not very reliable. Sometimes we have trouble streaming TV, so would it selling our bandwidth make the problem worse?

If you have unlimited bandwidth, no, and this won't be hogging all your bandwidth, just using it when you're not using it mostly.
I think this app probably is legit from my cursory search. However, as it is a bandwidth app they are making money by using your network as a VPN and sometimes this breaks other earning apps such as surveys (due to people outside of the US using services such as these to make money in the US. So just be aware.
