SaverLife is a great place to start when getting serious about savings. I have saved about $2500 in the account I have linked to SaverLife, but I have saved an additional $10000 in my savings category within my budget. Overall I have won about $250 from the various Scratch and Save promotions.
I've been doing this for a few months and I haven't earned anything from the Scratch and Save promos. The savings articles are helpful though!

about 2 years and yes it's been helpful in providing information and resources to allow me to change my money attitude and get credit card debt free
