Is there a way to take a vacation when on a tight budget? Are there any beginners apps for saving for vacations?

You dont need an app. You could re-discover nearby places
I think if you are good at managing your credit a credit card with cash back rewards would be a great way to save for spending money for a trip. For example w/ Bank Of America I received $250 cash back after spending $500 within the first 90 days of activation while receiving 3% back on a category of my choosing (online shooing, dinning, shopping, etc), 2% at grocery stores and gas stations, and 1% back everywhere else. So this is where being good with your credit important, I use my credit card for every purchase I can but I don’t spend outside of my budget. So every time I spend money I get money back. So here’s how I get the most back I pay my rent (500) with my credit card but I pay for two months (1000) because the platform charges a $14 convenience fee. So 3% on 1014 is over $30 and so at the end of year you get over $180 in cash back and even after you deduct the $14 every month you still make money for paying rent which is sweet to me.
Vacations dont always have to be somewhere far away. Find something within your current state. Maybe a couple of hours away, and take a day trip or stay for the weekend. A weekend at a nice B and B sounds peaceful.
