For me, I can save each shopping trip that I leave my wife at home.She is a habitual impulse buyer. We end up with too much of someyhing, or things not really needed.
I use a shopping list based on meal plans I make for the week. That way I am not buying things I won’t need. I also use a credit card where I get 3% cash back on grocery store purchases, which I pay off each month.
Take a calculator with you to determine real price per unit. The giant economy size is not always the cheapest.
Great tip! For me, I maximize coupon apps like ibotta only using it for things I would already buy

I try to shop the ad online before going in store. There are discount codes and manufacture coupons for the bonus cards as well as Sunday paper coupons
Yea things like Ibotta, inbox dollars coupons and magic receipt, etc, but like Daniel said, don't look for things to buy, only get what you were getting anyway and save, then take those savings and stick them directly into an account or pay off a debt to save on interest down the line as soon as you reach a cash out threshold.
Rakuten gives cash back on purchases. It also gives coupon codes prior to a purchase.
