avoided take out lunch, made myself something in the kitchen
didn't buy coffee, made my own instead.
Since starting this program I find myself thinking differently about how I spend money and constantly think twice about buying things.
I didnt buy my usual Starbucks 🥺
cooked today
I cooked myself breakfast and lunch but I'm having a really discouraging work day. think I am going to buy a cookie at Starbucks. I have a budget set aside specifically for coffee.
Two things today-first off while working at my part-time job (data collection), I saw a really neat Harry Potter wand replica. I considered it. Did I want it? Yes!!! It lit up and everything! Great to display. Can use it at Halloween and at the school I work at to encourage kiddos? Yes! Do I NEED it? No. Definitely a want, not a need. So, I walked away from that one. Then, I went from one job to another and I didn't bring any food, so when I finished up at the second job and started heading home, I was starving. I considered stopping for fast food. I pass so many on the way home (McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc.), but I had bought some mini-sub rolls and fresh turkey a couple of days ago, so…I stayed strong and drove the 40 minutes to my house then finally ate! It was hard, but I did it! I agree with the others on this thread-definitely feel some self-pride!
Bring iced tea in coke bottles with me instead of buying cokes while out.
I brought my own lunch from home, so I wouldn't order delivery.
Hello! I did not eat fast food today.
Almost everything non-essential these days. Hyper focused.
