I think happiness is a need in life and we must do some work to find that place. What held me back was drinking but after getting through that something else always seems to be an obstacle and fear kicks in. Being totally happy all the time, to a certain degree, is possible.

I believe everyone has a special gift, figure out what that is and become the best you can be at it. Use it to help others somehow, the more people you serve the greater your rewards.

The really great things in life are priceless, if you have basic needs met you don't need much else in the way of material things. Choose experiences over "stuff."

Now more than ever being content and happy with your day to day life is of the utmost importance. Set monthly goals for yourself, change one small thing… read a book every week, make your bed daily, walk the hood. Move in the direction of who you want to be. One day or day one?
