Due to covid-19 I am unable to work due to the fact my 5 year old daughter can not go to school. This has effected a lot of things and I am a single mom having trouble paying my bills I pray things go back to normal soon if not me and my daughter will be struggling.
Have you applied for unemployment? With the extra 600$ a weekz that's 2400 a mo th plus your reg ui. For most states like ky, people are making more on ui then they did working! That ends up being 15$ a hr on top of what ever reg ui you would get. Pua here is 180 min so that puts people at $20 hr not even working. I understand some make more then that normally but there are many any peolle who only make 10, 11, 12 $ a hour so this unemployment is more then sufficient for most
I’m sinking slowly. I’m staying afloat because I saved my income tax check. Those funds are depleting. I’m going to start pawning some of my possession. I’m currently seeking employment but no call back yet.

Covid-19 is affecting me &my family in so many ways. But the largest impact is with my child custody case. I've been going through the court process to terminate a guardianship & regain my custody and was so close to getting to the end of this whole thing when courts were shut down, hearings postponed and pretty much put my case on hold. Now with each day that passes my daughters and I are missing out on time that we cannot get back. It is very hard to continue keeping myself together during these stressful times.

Hello Everyone! I'm a single mother of 4 children and Covid-19 has affected us. I am unemployed due to having 2 family members diagnosed with the virus and the fear of my own health because I have asthma. I just recieved unemployment but that goes so fast. I'm still trying to catch up on rent and Bill's and sometimes have to go to food pantries to keep food on the table. My children behavior has worsen due to the fact that we stay indoor or strictly in our yard in fear of catching the virus. It's a sad time for the world right now.
Well Unfortunately I’m Still In The Same Boat My Job Was Postponed In March I Am Still Out Of Work The Notified Us To Apply For Unemployment I’ve Been Getting Denied Since March I Tried The Pandemic Unemployment I Applied The First Week Of May No Emails No Calls I’m Way Behind And Rent Thanking God My Landlord Is Working With Me I’ve Just Applied For W2 I Don’t Know When That Is Going To Kick In But I’ve Been Praying Like Crazy For A Good Outcome I Have Three Small Children Ages 3-9 Months And No Support
