I work, go to college full time and have two kids, all the jobs I see online seem to be scams. Does anyone have any tips on finding a legitimate source to make a livable income working from home?

@Daphne, I'm not suer about livable income, but when I was in college (and then again in my first post-college job), to subsidize my income I would:
I'm rooting for you, Daphne! It's not easy trying to juggle all of that.
The one thing I strayed away from was MLMs like Younique, Arbonne, and Herbalife because unless I got into the program early on, I knew that I wouldn't be making any money or very little. There's a big fee to essentially buy into the company and resell the products, and it's not worth it. I had a few friends who got into MLMs in college, and it actually cost them more money than they made :/
Use government job search sites like Careerlink (for your state) or usajobs.gov. I know Indeed and LinkedIn are recommended a lot and come up on website searches. I question the legitimacy of some of the jobs offered there though I know they have legitimate jobs as well. If I try to search local jobs, they tend to throw jobs in other areas into the mix as well. If I wanted to find a job in any other area, I would expand my search to include those areas.
@Joan - Yeah, I totally agree with you! Indeed has way too many jobs that might be scams, but I find that LinkedIn has become a lot easier to use since you can look up the legitimacy of the company right on the site. When I found a job I was interested in on LinkedIn, I also looked up on the company's site to see if that job was legit/still being offered.
I would love up get my self employment cleaning business of the ground this yr..
