I'm saving to buy a new car. The hard part is that my current car keeps needing work (which is why I'm buying a new one) and it's hard to save up when you're spending on repairs.

I setup a direct deposit from my paycheck to go toward my car fund. It made saving a lot easier. I also used windfalls like tax refunds and bonuses to put more toward my car fund savings.
