I've been working on rebuilding my credit during this pandemic.

Take full advantage of weekly free credit reports from https://www.annualcreditreport.com and look at your report with all three bureaus.

Don't be afraid to dispute anything that shows up that you are sure is invalid. Getting stuff that shouldn't be on your report to go away can help bump your score upward by several points.

Credit cards are a great way to start building credit. But, you have to be careful not to let debt get away from you. If you can, pay them off every month. It builds credit and usually comes with rewards like cashback.

I increased my credit score to the high 700s, here are the keys I have learned: don't close credit cards leave them open and use periodically to keep open, if you have ok credit research a credit card that you can open this looks good because you will have a lot of credit available to you but will not be using much of it, do automatic payments for your accounts to make sure you don't miss payments
