Hello Everyone! My name is Amanda and probably like many of you, there is a reason why you chose to sign up and make an account with SaverLife! I started this thread because I would love any outside advice from peers on tips to save money, cut out costs and the most important one get your credit score to a better level. Like many of you, I carry debt, I live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes there are more bills than there is money. Savings what in the world is that right! I am always open to hearing about other's journeys and their advice on some good steps to take to tackle the 0 in savings and the debt we carry around with us, that we wish we did not have!
I only joined because the initial article I read stated you get $10 for signing up, that never happened. I stayed for the scratchers and to offer advice to those in need.
I believe that I must strive to do well with the little extra money I receive every month. To save money is a dream.
I signed up for SaverLife in 2018 during a promotion which gave you $60 for saving $120 in the first six months of having an account. When I started here I was almost completely debt free. Now I am currently beefing up my savings and sinking funds, while cash flowing a house updates. My advice is to have an actionable financial plan, which includes a budget, investing, retirement, savings, and estate planning. That was really the key for me when it came to getting out of debt and working on my current savings goals.
