I just wonder how a single mom with no income can get a tax refund. I do pay taxes on everything I buy. Or heck any kind of help I need a break. It’s rough these days when it comes to money with a two and three year old.

I don’t think you can get a refund if you have no income that can be documented.
I think Richard is correct unless someone found a loop hole we dont know about.
Anyone else file super early 1/28/23 and still waiting?
Hey
If you're a single mom and have no income, it's true: It will be tough to get a tax refund. To get a refund, there has to be tax for credits to go against. Now…there are refundable credits out there, e.g. the earned income tax credit and part of the child tax credit, but again, I believe both of these require minimum levels of earned income. Sorry :(
You would need some type of income even from assets, annuity, retirement, something that you would could apply as income. Do you do any type of "gig" work? PapaPal, Uber, DoorDash, Wonolo app. Many of the gig opps allow you to work when you can (you pick the gigs you can work)—–That would help bring in some income.
