Headed to the coast next month! To save money we usually cook at the vacation house we're staying at to minimize costs of going out to eat. I'll be feeding a handful of teenage boys so things can get costly. What are your budget friendly meal ideas for a group of 7? I usually make things like chicken fajitas, burgers, etc. Looking for some new ideas while also saving $.
On days that i have to make a inexpensive meal for my family i turn to cornbread chilli. The ingredients are very cheap and the cornbread makes you full with a small portion. You just get some canned chilli beans($3) canned tomatoes($3) a chilli pack($2), onions, celery, bell pepper(optional) ground beef and some boxed cornbread(.50 cents a box). You pour the cornbread on top of the chilli.

Cornbread chili sounds delicious! Thanks! I also stayed in an airbnb that had a kitchen on my last vacation and we had egg scramble for breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions) and also put them on tortillas for a breakfast burrito. For lunch and dinner we had tacos and burgers, etc.
