I’m a big fan of the Stay-cation, what have you done at home during your time off?
My partner and I have done what we called a “music staycation” where we acted like we were on vacation somewhere for a week with our instruments and we spend the whole time playing music together
How about a writing staycation, you stay home and start writing your novel?
Sometimes I like to feel like I’m “getting away” by staying in a hotel or Airbnb nearby in my city. Cheaper than traveling far 🤷

Ooh how about a home spa “getaway”
I also like a good lord of the rings vacay. Any binge watching vacay really
I totally forgot about the videogamecation!
In the summer there’s always the beach (if you live near water)
Lol I’m starting to run out of ideas
Attend an online conference on a topic of interest, like one that is all week or weekend, something that you’d normally travel for and make a vacation out of it.
Home yoga retreat 
is that different from a spa-cation?…

I always try to book rooms I can cook in, and have pull out couches.
We went to Matagorda Beach and camped there for 3 nights. We took simple things to cook and had a good time without having to spend a lot. It's so expensive to go camping at state parks these days. By the time you add up the park fees, and the campsite for 3 nights it starts to cost a lot.

I bought a Hammock for $30 and relaxed in my back yard while hubby grilled. Nice and relaxing with very little money spent
I need a sleep-cation… time off to do absolutely nothing but rest! That must sound extremely lazy! 🤦

I like Shantel B's idea of a sleep-cation and resting! Gardening is something I do on a stay-cation.
I like visiting local museums, zoos and aquariums on a staycation.

One year for my anniversary, we picked about 5 new places in the city that we never been. Sip and paint, rage room, ride 4 Wheeler's, escape room, ball room dancing. We had so much fun during that week without paying for a room and gas.
