If you have a credit card, always pay the minimum so it shows you paid for the month and do not spend anything else on the credit card unless it is an emergency. But atleast try to pay the min balance for your credit cards.
Pay your bills, and debts on time to keep good credit scores
I filed bankruptcy 4 months ago, and I have been applying for secured and credit-rebuilding based credit cards. I have applied for at least 20 cards, and I have been denied for all 20. Any advice?
you have to clean those collections first and stop applying for these cards they gave you nothing but hard inquires and dropped your credit report to low- clean up collettions for 2- 3 months then get cards when your cleared up- go to google and youtibe and look how to remove bankrupices collections charge offs and hard inquires —you also have to freeze the other credit reporters but not the top 3—go to google and youtube and look up the other unknow one sagestream lexisnexis clairty etc.
Just wondering if I do apply for a new credit card to rebuild my credit do you think having to pay a first upfront $89 fee to get the credit card mailed to me is s scam or is it because my credit is only "fair" that's the reason why I have to pay this type of fee and I'm referring to unsecured credit cards such as Total Visa and First Access
I was put on my boyfriend's credit card and then he got scammed and his credit account was hacked. Now its giving my credit bad info. How can I fix this?

If you are an authorized user then you can ask to be removed from the account. This would remove it from your credit report.
Make full payments on your credit card. It takes time for the age of your credit history to grow.
I started out building my credit by using my credit card to only purchase gasoline, something i would need to pay cash for and could put to the side. I would pay my credit card bill with gas money put to tbe side.
Pay your credit cards on time always on time. This will bring your score back.

dont pay for a secured card- that is expensive-$89 – get a secured card from discover or capitol one- $89 is not a scam but its too much cash– also get store cards and spend no more then 10 percent- if you spend more than 10 percent then the stores may shut down your whole card even if you pay on time or they will drop your spending from 300 to 100 and this messes with your credit and your credit ultization on your credit reports
Building credit is a key to life and you just got to know what to pick and choose in order to keep your credit straight
great advice
You should not have to pay upfront for getting a credit card. With a secured credit card you do but this money is returned to you after a certain time of paying your bills on-time and the amount you pay ahead of time is your credit limit.
Ok
Mission Asset Fund is a non-profit organization that helps build credit using a zero interest loan and monthly payments that report to all 3 bureaus. I was very satisfied with their assistance.
I have a Funiture store specific credit card. I was about to buy a full tempurpedic bed setup so I got the card with a $2400 credit limit on it but wound up not buying the bed. The card is active but hasn't been used and therefore has no interest on it but it reflects positively on my credit score. I use Credit Karma to keep track of my credit. My score has went up 100+ points over the past year.
making payments in full and on time will help you build credit.
Following
I just saw an article where a kid racked up 300,000 dollars in rewards.
I have a super low score
It is a good idea to apply for an unsecured credit card to help you with your credit score. This can also help people who once had a good credit score and now they need that push. I applied for one is very simple. Just make sure to make the payments before the due date.
Make payments on time
Make payment on time, pay balance in full and use less than 33% of credit.
