Apparently, Experian Boost is a free way to possibly improve your credit score. It does this by including any on-time payments made to utilities (telephone, internet, electricity, gas, cell phone, etc.) on your credit report. Since only on-time payments are added, this can only help, not hurt, your credit score.

Do you know how far out they would check? Jumping up to 800 would be nice for all those years.

I haven't tried it myself, so I can't speak to how far back they'll go to add utility payments. But it seems like it's worth a shot to boost your score, especially since this can't hurt your score, only help it.
At the moment I’m trying to rebuild my credit score. It takes a lot of work but it seems like I’m on the right path. It went up 4 points last week. Every little bit counts in my book.
How can i get help improving my credit
My problem is not using my credit card again until I get my payments down low it's hard to do but I've been getting better at it
They went back to 2018 for my phone bills. For some reason it still does not see my utility payments from a bank account so it is not perfect.
My credit score is very low. What ways do you suggest that I can go about increasing my credit score? Right now, money is kinda hard to come across and the bills keep piling. Any resources, grants, programs, etc that can apply for to assist me in these times?
I have heard looking into trade lines. The trade lines boost your credit and give you credit history if you are looking to make a big purchase like a car or a house. Has anyone else heard of this? If so do you think it is worth it or a waste of money?
I just registered with kikoff. It is a one dollar a month credit boost/savings and you can get your money back anytime.
Idk what to do. I’m lost at this point. Credit means a lot. Teaching my kids the value of Credit now. It’s important.
I love the self app. You build credit while u save money into a CD account. I just jumped 30 points in just two months
Experien Boost works very well. Plus add utilities and phone bill
I am getting a new credit card
I want to buy a house but I’m not sure how to get started raising my credit
I would love a new car but my credit score is not high enough
Make a house or a car a long term goal while saving up and increasing your credit score if possible. Just remember the most important factor here is is time and patience.
I have been working hard to get my credit score up! Paying my credit cards down keeping them under 30%. Paying my bills on time. And Also settle out out pass debt for 10 dollars !
I have been trying this thing for years now wish me luck
What are the best store credit cards that will help your credit score go up?
I don't know if there is much of a difference (if any) between retailer credit cards or for that matter major bank cards. As long as you show a history of on-time payments the credit bureaus they report to will increase your score with time.
